The Securail Pro Verical with foldable rungs is a discreet solution for retrofitting permanent ladders on historic landmarks buildings. See this example of a beautifull lighthouse in Barcelona installed by Fallprotec SL. The end user can climb up and down seamlessly while beeing connected to the fall arrest rail.
